On 10 September, Andreas Goldthau presented a paper on "Soft Power with a Hard Edge: EU Policy Tools and Energy Security", jointly authored with Nick Sitter, at Australian National University, Canberra. The presentation was part of the annual European Union Centres in Australia and New Zealand conference on "Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive: Researching the EU from Australia and New Zealand".
