we warmly invite you to join the first meeting of CEU's Energy Policy Research Group (EPRG) in this academic year.
Monday, September 29: first internal EPRG meeting
Venue: September 29, 6-7.30 pm, Nador 11 room 203
EPRG is an interdisciplinary research forum, open to students and faculty from all CEU departments to discuss different kinds of issues that touch upon energy. This includes amongst others political, security, environmental, efficiency, economic, business, institutional and technological aspects. EPRG organizes internal meetings to present and discuss research. Moreover, EPRG organizes lectures and conferences that are generally open to the public and that aim to bridge the gap between academia and NGOs/business/public sector institutions.
We specifically welcome new Master and PhD students to join our research group. Last years' members have significantly benefited from discussing their research - whether at the brainstorming or advanced stage - in a friendly, dynamic and constructive atmosphere. Generally, at internal EPRG meetings a piece of research (article, paper, chapter of book/thesis) is presented and discussed. Additionally, we organize special sessions for Master students to brainstorm and discuss ideas for thesis topics.
